Brent North: 50% of eligible voters not born in the UK

As part of the coverage of 100 seats in the 100 days to the election, Matthew Price visited the London borough of Brent. He spoke with three voters to find out which election policies mattered to them.

Brent North is one of two London constituencies where non-British born voters make up more than half of the electorate.

According to a study by Migrants' Rights Network and the University of Manchester, around one in 10 of the people eligible to vote in the general election were not born in the UK.

They include those who have gained British citizenship or people from Commonwealth countries. In this unprecedented election, their impact could be huge.
