The Herdwick shepherd and author of 'The Shepherd's Life', James Rebanks has a huge twitter following where he updates his fans on the day to day running of his farm in the Lake District. In an exclusive for Radio 4 in Four, James explains his profound relationship with the land and his connection to the farmers that went before him. "None of what I do here is invented by me, it's created by the people who came before me. The sheep are as good or as bad because of the people who bred them before me, and my job is to keep it going, do my shift".
