Jazz from Rainey to Jamie

An archive interview from Jamie Cullum when he was beginning to get well known. Also there's music from Ellington and Ella, both would have celebrated birthdays this week.

We shall hear from Jamie Cullum talking to me in 2003 and a song from him with Geoff Gascoyne a couple of years later. Also there's music from Count Basie as one third of a trio and leading a big band united with Duke Ellington. There are newly issued tracks from the Modern Jazz Quartet recorded in Germany in 1957 plus there's news of Unesco's fourth International Jazz Day.
