As part of the series covering 100 seats in the run up to the election Mishal Husain was at a business in the Reading West constituency ahead of the 2015 Budget.

Two local business leaders; Ronan Dunne, Chief Executive Officer of 02 and Nick Bion, Managing Director of Bion Metals, shared their wishes for the Budget.

Mr Bion, pictured above, is keen for there to be better science education at schools which would help create the workforce needed by companies like his.

"You have to have to have highly skilled knowledgeable people to run the plants that we've got, you can't afford to make mistakes. Manufacturing in general needs 25% more engineering graduates," he said.

Mr Dunne, who sits on the board of the Tech Partnership, agrees there is a need for more skilled science workers.

"We need to make sure the government is supporting the right level of investment in the STEM skills...making sure we have more engineers, making sure we have more computer science graduates," he said.
