Commerzbank to Pay $1.45bn Fine to US

Commerzbank agrees to pay a penalty to US authorities for violating sanctions against businesses in Iran and Sudan and for engaging in money laundering.

Germany's second-largest bank, Commerzbank, has agreed to pay a total of $1.45bn to US authorities for violating economic sanctions against businesses in Iran and Sudan. We get the background from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Samira Hussein in New York.
