Belfast: Could DUP hold balance of power in the Election?

In the latest of our series covering 100 seats in the run up to the election, Andy Martin has been speaking to voters and the head of the Democratic Unionist Party Peter Robinson in Belfast about what they would want from Westminster in exchange for supporting a coalition government.

The DUP's topics for negotiation in return for its support in May include the lower VAT rates on hotels and tourism, and the abolition of domestic air passenger duty..

First Minister Peter Robinson didn't rule out a formal coalition and wouldn't be pressed on specific demands but confirmed he is looking for greater investment in Northern Ireland.

"You can have devolved powers but very often the ability to do things comes down to financial issues as well, there's very considerable catch up to be done in the Northern Ireland economy," he said.
