What has changed since Ferguson? Racial bias among Ferguson police in Missouri does exist, according to a report which will be published today. The US Justice Department looked into police practices following the shooting of Michael Brown last year. They accuse the police department of stopping people mainly from the African-American community without reasonable suspicion. In cases like jaywalking, black people accounted for 95% of all arrests. It says racial bias is so ingrained that Ferguson officials emailed racist jokes to each other. One said Barack Obama would not be president for long because "what black man holds a steady job for four years?" We speak to people who took part in the Ferguson protests to ask, has anything changed in America since Ferguson?
