Fox hunting ban: 10 years on

Ahead of the Hunting Act's tenth anniversary, reporter Nicola Stanbridge visited the Bicester Hunt. She spoke to huntsman Patrick Martin about trail hunting, which is the act of following a scent trail instead of a fox.

Martin said "the majority of people...are very pleased to see that we have not gone away and the tradition of the British countryside has been kept going".

Michael Stephenson, from the League Against Cruel Sports, is keen for the Hunting Act to be tightened including stronger sentencing under the act.

"We'd like to see that act defended and strengthened because we think going back would be a return to the bad old days," he said.
