Delhi drivers get lessons in "gender sensitisation"

It is now compulsory for all taxi and auto-rickshaw drivers in Delhi to attend "gender sensitisation" classes where they are taught how to ensure the safety of women passengers.

"Don't stare, whistle, follow, stalk or touch a woman, it's against the law and you will be in big trouble," says Delhi based Smita Tewari, who trains the drivers.

So is this a welcome change? Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Anisa Indawala has been speaking to Indians who now live in the West of England to find out.

In this extract she first speaks to Pooja who currently lives in Cheltenham, but is from Delhi.
