Child abuse inquiry panel 'isn't perfect'

Peter Saunders, chief executive of The National Association for People Abused in Childhood said to Today's John Humphrys that the disbanding of the panel was "supported by a vast majority of survivors and survivor organisations."

He stated the need for a "transparent, open recruitment of a panel with appropriate skills and expertise."

Tim Loughton, former children's minister and member of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Affairs Select Committee praised the work of current members of the panel, saying that it would be 'disrespectful' to now send them home.
