Beethoven: Piano Trio in D
In Building a Library Harriet Smith considers different recordings of Beethoven's Piano Trio in D major known as The Ghost. It is one of his best known piano trios, written in the confident manner of his so-called middle period and it gets its name from the eerie scoring in the slow movement.
