Judit Polgar: The Queen of Kings
The 41st Chess Olympiad held in TromsΓΈ, Norway earlier this month marked the end to the career of the most successful female player in the history of the game. In 1991 when Judit Polgar was just 15 she became the youngest person ever to achieve the status of Grandmaster. Although that record has since been broken, the Hungarian still holds many more! As a woman she had to fight to gain acceptance in a sport that suffers from sexism.
