Frisky and Mannish at Underbelly Bristo Square

Following successful sell out shows in the West End and at the Sydney Opera House, musical comedy cabaret duo, Frisky and Mannish, return to the Edinburgh Fringe this year in what they describe as a β€œbarely-conscious recoupling”.

Felicity Fitz-Frisky (Laura Corcoran) and Hansel Amadeus Mannish (Matthew Floyd Jones) formed in March 2008. The pair have enjoyed several sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe. Their loyal fan base love the duo’s blend of pitch perfect vocals, seething parody and pop music mash-ups.

This year the show lampoons familiar tabloid tales of celebrity excess and high profile hedonism. Appearing here as part of the Edinburgh Fringe previews, they perform one of their classic tracks, The Wheels on the Bus, which sees childhood nursery rhymes reworked to the tune of Girls Aloud’s debut single, The Sound of the Underground.

Frisky and Mannish: Just too Much is at the Underbelly, Bristo Square, until 25 August.
