Pint-sized World Cup: Day Twenty-four
Argentina and Netherlands joined Brazil and Germany into the last four of the World Cup yesterday.
The Dutch overcame the big surprises of the tournament, Costa Rica. But they took them all the way to penalties and Louis van Gaal's decision to bring on Tim Krul for penalties paid off as he saved two penalties to set them up a semi-final with Argentina. They beat Belgium with an early Higuain goal, but lost Di Maria with a thigh injury and now faces a battle to get fit for the rest of the tournament.
