Rod Laver: 'Β£15 and a firm handshake' for Wimbledon win
One of the all-time tennis greats, the Australian Rod Laver, revealed his prize fund for winning at Wimbledon in the 1960s was "a Β£15 voucher and a firm handshake".
In comparison to the almost Β£2m that the winner of Wimbledon 2014 can expect to receive.
The 11 time Grand Slam winner admitted that he wishes he was playing in this era, in response to a text from a listener during 6-love-6.
