There will be at least one European team in the World Cup semi-finals. France and Germany overcame Nigeria and Algeria to qualify for the quarter-finals - every side that has gone through from the round of 16 so far, won their group.
Both teams left it late - Germany left it to extra time before goals from Premier League stars, AndrΓ© SchΓΌrrle and Mesut Ozil saw them through over surprise of the tournament, Algeria. 606 duo, Darren Fletcher and Robbie Savage found time to discuss the goal of the tournament and disagree, with Darren going for James Rodriguez's wonder goal inside the Maracana and Robbie going for Tim Cahill's (because of his commentary).
