Ravel: Mother Goose
Stephen Johnson joins the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Boldur Broennimann for an exploration of the musical thinking behind Ravel's Mother Goose. Inspired by the fairy tales of Charles Perrault, this piece began life as an amusement at the piano and developed into an orchestral ballet score.
