Meeting my attacker
In 2008 Shad Ali from Nottingham was a passer-by who intervened when he saw two women being racially abused. As a result, he was seriously assaulted and suffered severe head injuries. His attacker was jailed for a minimum of five years and this week he went to meet him for the first time.
