麻豆约拍

In 2007 Abdullah got his first acting role in a short film called Raamis (originally called Extraordinary Rendition). He went through a great ordeal during this film as he allowed himself to be physically tortured as part of his role. Abdullah allowed the director to out him in situations that he was not physically or mentally prepared for. He was stripped, thrown around and he was also water boarded.
In 2008 Abdullah was cast in a pilot called Admin which was written by David Isaac and was later commissioned for 2 series for 麻豆约拍3. After 4 years of Lunch Monkeys he was very quickly cast into the show Citizen Khan which was performed in front of a small audience at the first Salford showcase.

Citizen Khan was then commissioned for a series for 麻豆约拍1 in which Abdullah portrayed the character of Amjad Malik. This shot Abdullah into the limelight and most recently presented Christmas comedy specials on 麻豆约拍 Asian Network.
