Music Matters: Ravel's Letters
For 3 months, in 1908, Ralph Vaughan Williams studied with Maurice Ravel in Paris. The pair became close friends, and over the following 11 years stayed in contact writing letters and visiting each other. The correspondence that Ravel wrote to Vaughan Williams is held at The British Library where Tom Service and Stephen Johnson took a look at them.
