Sleeping rough event to make people aware of poverty and homelessness
Raising awareness of the difficulties of people sleeping rough is the big awareness campaign for this year’s poverty and homeless action week. The aim of the week is to make people understand how difficult it is for people with no homes. As part of this week, the Hope Centre in Northampton has organised the Big Sleep Out on the 31st January to raise funds for the day services it provides to homeless people in the town. Amongst the many people taking part in the Big Sleep Out is Chair of the Northampton Interfaith Forum, Hassan Shah. In this interview he tells Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Northampton’s Jona Kotnis about the event.
