Proud or ashamed to be black? - Gloucester
How proud do you wear your blackness?
It's an issue thrown into the spotlight by The Guardian newspaper, in an article written by Orville Lloyd Douglas - a black man in Canada.
He says daily discrimination has left him feeling ashamed to be black, and believes many black people feel the same.
And he claims a lot of black men don't want to acknowledge the feelings of disgust they have for themselves. In this extract from Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ radio Gloucester, Kevin Philemon put this view to the test with some black men and women in Bristol.
