Mary Richardson
One of the women most active in Suffragette Movement, Mary Richardson, explains how she slashed the Rokeby Venus, a painting in the National Gallery in London, as an act of defiance.
She also recalls being present at Epsom when Emily Davidson jumped under the feet of the King’s horse.
Mary Richardson died on 7 November 1961.
