It's week two on the X-Factor and we'll catch up with Devon's contestants in the competition.

Last week, Luke Friend sailed through to the next round but Shelley Smith found herself in the sing-offs after the flash-vote at the end of Saturday's programme.

And how do they feel about some of the less-than-complimentary comments that some people choose to make on social media?

Jess McAllister

Jess is a singer, guitarist, pianist and songwriter. She's also a mother which, she says, gives her 'a different approach on life when it comes to performing'.

Jess - from Exeter - releases her debut EP today. She paid for it all herself and even made up her own record label.ÌýMuch of it was recorded in her front room.Ìý

She'll be bringing in some of the members of The Emerald Armada (who she's currently on tour with) and they'll all be performing live on today's show.

Andy Watts

Andy's had more than 20 years in music and media.

He's a former member of the 90s platinum-selling rock band The Seahorses.

Ìý

He's also a classically trained guitarist, a solo artist and a graphic designer.

Andy has taught in schools and prisons and he's been commissioned to write music for TV and radio.

Ìý

He lives in ExeterÌýand will be taking a trip down the Devon Expressway to join us on today's show to chat and perform live.

He's requested flap-jacks on the cake menu - we'll see what we can do!

Charlotte Ward

Charlotte Ward

Charlotte Ward took to the stage for her first live performance when she was just 13 years old.

Now, two years later, she's a 'seasoned professional'!

"I'm only little but I'm really loud!," says the singer songwriter from Ide, just outside Exeter.

"I always tell the sound guy to turn the mic down and they never believe me.

"I soon prove them wrong once I start singing," says Charlotte.

We'll meet the talented 15 year old before she heads off to perform at the Princesshay Acoustic Stage as part of Exeter's 2013 Oxjam festival.

Poppy Mills

Talented Plymouth singer Poppy Mills is well known on the local music scene,Ìýmainly for her operatic style.

But recently she has been collaborating with a fellow Wells music scholar, Roy Cheung,Ìýto record a track in memory of their friend who passed away this year.

All the proceeds from the track will go the Teenage Cancer Trust and Poppy will be in to tell us all about it.

The Blues Brothers Collective

The 'goldfish bowl' is going to be full to overflowing today as we're joined by a 10-piece tribute band to the legendary Blues Brothers band.

The band was formed 12 years ago as a school band, but members ended up going their own ways (to college and university) before reforming again in 2010 with a couple of original members and a few new additions.


The Blues Brothers Collective are based in South Devon and they'll be shaking a tail feather or two on today's show.
