Rape victim tells of "torture" by prison officer in 70s
Kevin Young, a victim of sexual abuse at a youth detention centre in County Durham, speaks to 5 live Breakfast about the abuse, carried out by prison officers. Last month, Durham Constabulary reopened the investigation into the crimes at Medomsley Juvenile Detention Centre in the 70s and 80s, and more than 60 people have since come forward with information. It's thought hundreds of teenage boys who were serving sentences there could have been victims. Church minister Neville Husband, who worked at Medomsley as a prison officer and store man Leslie Johnson were jailed over the abuse in 2003, and both are now dead.
