JG's back with burlesque, live music, yodelling and a trip to Powderham Food Festival

Live and local music, special guests and lots of fun for a Saturday morning.

John's joined by the teenage Devon yodeller who made it through to boot camp on the X-Factor 2013.

Live and local music, special guests and lots of fun for a Saturday morning.

John's joined by the teenage yodeller who made it through to boot camp on this year's X-Factor; Devon's Barclay Beales.

We'll have reports throughout the show from the Powderham Food Festival.

Plus, in this slightly shorter show (to make way for the early kick-off in the footy) he'll be finding out what is making Burlesque so popular once again.

Yodelling, live music, burlesque and cake - where else would you find such a combination but Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio Devon on a Saturday morning!

Barclay Beales

Barclay Beales

He's the teenage yodeller from Devon who made it through to 'boot camp' on this year's X-Factor.

Unfortunately, Barclay didn't make it to the judges houses, but that does mean he's able to join us for some cake, chat and music on today's show.

Ìý

He'll be telling us what it was like to perform in front of thousands at Wembley, how it compares to busking in Exeter and how he managed a cheeky cuddle with Nicole Scherzinger.

No doubt we'll all be trying to yodel before the morning's out!

First hour theme

The theme for songs and singers in the first hour of today's programme is 'Household Items' - things you'd find in a house.

Get in touch with your suggestion - but no songs by Desk O'Connor please!

Kinky & Quirky

Kinky & Quirky

Kinky & Quirky have been running vintage events in Torquay and South Devon since 2007.

Ìý

They organise monthly vintage burlesqueÌýand cabaret shows which sell out virtually every month.

Ìý

MarkÌýand Sarah Bell have been at the forefront of the burlesque revival in the Southwest and they'll be in to tell us all about it.

Letters From Sam

Letters From Sam
Sam Shepherd has been on the show before as a solo artist - now he's teamed up with Josh Smith and Josh Cooper to create the trio Letters From Sam.

The new young group will be performing live on today's show and say their music is a mix of pop, soulÌýand acoustic rock.

Dva tovarisha (Two Comrades)

Dva tovarisha (Two Comrades)

Two Comrades - or to give them their correct name; двух товарищей - are Dmitry Babichev (guitar and vocals) and Brian Ibbotson (on flute and saxophone).

Ìý

The duo say their music is not easy to categorise but that some would call it 'World Music'.

You can decide for yourself when they perform live on today's show.
