Could the Oculus Rift give virtual reality headsets a reboot?
For a while in the late 1980s and 1990s virtual reality gaming systems were popular in video arcades, but attempts to produce a consumer-targeted version repeatedly failed.
Earlier this month a virtual reality headset, the Oculus Rift, secured its target of $250,000 (Β£160,200) on crowd-funding site Kickstarter.
The device is supported by several major video game developers and the company says it believes they have overcome the problems that caused other headsets to struggle.
