It Takes a Village To Raise a Child - London
August sees the start of an initiative to encourage more African and African Caribbean people to adopt black children.
Taken from the African proverb, the It Takes a Village To Raise a Child event will offer discussion on the ins and outs of adopting - led by the Afrikan Family Works organisation.
In this clip Dotun is joined by Sundjata Keita, chair of Afrikan Family works, Jean Smith, assistant director at Parents and Children Together, and Jacqui Grant, who kicked off the discussion about her adoption and experience and why she's adopting another child.
