The Moorish Kiosk
The Moorish Kiosk was originally designed for the World Exhibition in Paris in 1867. Ludwig had the entire structure rebuilt in the grounds of his palace at Linderhof. The result is an extraordinary piece of Islamic architecture set against the backdrop of the Bavarian Alps. Inside, Dan marvels at Ludwig’s beautifully ornate Peacock Throne.
