Brazil's struggle to balance the benefits of hosting sport and the cost of staging it.

As the Confederation Cup continues Brazilians are struggling to balance the benefits of hosting international sporting events and the costs of making them happen. The Building and Wood Workers' International (BWWI) is a union whose members built the infrastructure for next year's World Cup. After many strikes on site, many of their members are now on the streets demonstrating. We speak to Mauricio Rombaldi the BWWI Project Co-ordinator for Brazil about the situation and the difference between World Cup promises and reality.

Death of a Linesman
Richard Nieuwenhuizen loved to watch his son play football. So much so he volunteered to be a linesman for the youth team he played for. Like many officials he expected a bit of back chat from the players, but never that it would cost him his life. This week seven people were convicted of his manslaughter including six teenage players.
