Housing Associations in Northamptonshire, who forecast that tenants would get into debt as a result of Housing Benefit changes, say their fears are being realised.

According to the Housing Associations, the arrears are directly attributable to the benefits changes, referred to by some as the "bedroom tax".

Stuart talks to two people who have incurred arrears - Shell Maskens, who lives in a two bedroomed property in Corby, and Maureen Hadfield, who has downsized from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom property in Kislingbury - and to Gill Higginson, the Assistant Director of Housing Services at South Northants Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔs, and to Katy Sagoe, the Director of Housing Services at Spire Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔs East Northants.
