Developing the atomic bomb

Richard Feynman recalls when he was asked to work on the Manhattan project to develop the atomic bomb. The original reason for developing the bomb was to counter the threat from Nazi Germany during World War Two. But when Hitler was defeated, Feynman says the need to develop the bomb changed. He admits that he didn’t think about this at the time and says he should have reconsidered his continued work on the project.
