Strike up the Broadband
How important is fast internet access to small businesses around the world?
How difficult would it be to start a business without electricity, running water, or a road leading up to the front door of your shop? As communications technology becomes increasingly vital to more and more businesses, internet connectivity is becoming as important as traditional utilities. In this edition Peter Day hears from businesses and internet experts in the US, Kenya and Britain, and finds out how the internet speeds can boost business – or hold it back.
