The work of renowned film-director Peter Greenaway

Wales Today looks at the work of renowned Welsh film director Peter Greenaway CBE, born in Newport, Monmouthshire, on 5 April 1942. His work is experimental and controversial and noted for the distinct influence of Renaissance, Baroque and Flemish painting.

In 1993 he was awarded an International Film fellowship by the Wales Film Council and as a result staged exhibitions in Swansea and Cardiff.
