World War Two rationing in Wales
Memories of rationing in the World War Two in Wales with its long queues and black market. The rationing was severe but neighbours swapped and bartered with each other for fresh vegetables, sugar and other luxury items. People would often queue outside shops not even knowing what they were going to get inside but the black market economy was rife.
