I thought we'd fall out: Tumi and Tilly
Tumi came to Edinburgh from Botswana to study. She stayed with her aunt at first, but when that didn't work out she moved in with Tilly. Despite being cousins, they couldn't be more different. Tilly is younger and more sensible. She studies psychology and wants a good job and a husband by the age of 26. Tumi is five months older but lives for the moment. A fully-trained dental nurse, she dreams of being an actress and has no intention of settling down any time soon.
