A surprisingly high number of offenders have trouble reading and writing and if you're illiterate the chances of escaping a cycle of crime are hugely reduced.
Today (Wed) Anna meets one offender who fell through the cracks for many years, and paid a huge price. Now she's trying to change her life for good by learning to write.
