March 2008 - Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Arabic and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Persian Television – a new way forward

With dwindling numbers listening to shortwave radio, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ World Service radically shifted its focus to the Arab and Persian world, and launched two innovative television services. Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Arabic Television provided a solid news service, whilst Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Persian Television focussed on youth and current affairs.
