What makes me, me?
An exploration of the concept of identity using the story of the Ship of Theseus, made famous by British philosopher Thomas Hobbes.
Using the example of a ship changing over time and becoming physically different, it encourages children to consider the meaning of identity, stimulating a discussion on memory, experience and the soul. This film uses a combination of an animated parable with live action discussions with children and is adapted from Peter Worley’s 'The If Machine'.
