Drive-By Truckers' frontman/co-songwriter Patterson Hood joins Bob to play live and talk about his new solo album Heat Lightning Rumbles in The Distance.

Patterson will also talk about his amazing childhood - meeting many of the people his father recorded with as a founder member of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section.

These included Boz Scaggs, Aretha Franklin, Bobby Womack, Paul Simon, Traffic, Rod Stewart, Cat Stevens, James Brown, Bob Seger, Carlos Santana, Glenn Frey, Primal Scream and Julian Lennon.
