Did You Know?

Yorkshireman John Noakes holds the record for longest-serving presenter of the children's magazine programme Blue Peter, having racked up 12 years and six months (though Konnie Huq was a presenter for just over 10 years, she holds the record for number of editions she presented - 966).

The theme tune to this series is a rendition of On Ilkla Moor Baht 'at ('On Ilkley Moor, without a hat'), a popular Yorkshire song sung to the tune of the hymn Cranbrook.
