Robin Day hosts studio debate with Sir Keith Joseph MP, Secretary of State for Social Services, concerning the governments proposed re-organisation of the National Health Service.This discussion programme opens with film footage of Aneurin Bevan and a short interview with his widow, Baroness Lee. Robin Day is joined by Sir Keith Joseph, Secretary of State for Social Services, who faces some hostile questions from members of the medical profession. One became a doctor in the year that the NHS was introduced, while another was born in that year and is now a medical practitioner. (1973)
