European Clubs' Dirty Tricks
An agent says European clubs don’t pay what they should for players from the developing world.
The former agent of Roberto Carlos tells us that European clubs are exploiting those in the developing world by not paying them what they’re owed for nurturing the talent that comes to Europe. He claims that FIFA doesn’t take any action to enforce its own regulation.
The Zenit St Petersburg defender Bruno Alves says that the club’s association with racism, following a letter from a group of fans urging them never to sign black or gay players, isn’t an important issue for him.
