Tom Paley signed to Elektra Records in the 1950s and as a lynchpin of the Greenwich Village scene he played with Woody Guthrie and was an icon to younger players like Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk, Ry Cooder and Jerry Garcia. He is in session with his Old-Time string band revival.
