The EU - Should The UK Stay Or Go?

When David Cameron makes his speech on Europe, he's expected to say Britain could leave if his concerns aren't sorted. WE asked local people: "what has the EU ever done for us?"

When Prime Minister David Cameron makes his speech on Europe, he's expected to say Britain could leave if his concerns aren't sorted. He's worried about three things: the crisis in the eurozone, EU legislation that he thinks is restricting business and how public support for the union is declining dramatically. Reporter Tom Percival asks people in Wellingborough, "what has the EU ever done for us?" Corby, in particular, has benefited from EU funding; Corby reporter Martin Borley outlines how. Stuart talks to Rob Purdie, the Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership, and to Roger Verallo, Managing Director of Euro Towers - a scaffolding company in Northampton which does business in several other EU countries.
