Cardiff Bay Renewal
Views of Cardiff Bay from 1996 (just after development work started) showing the processes of urban regeneration that were to alter the old inner harbour area, previously called Tiger Bay. Noteable as it reflects the beginning of the environmental change that transformed the focus of the area from it's old industrial uses around the coal industry to more contemporary uses as a leisure and tourism centre. Footage without commentary showing Mermaid Quay, the mudflats, the old Maritime museum and the Pierhead building.
