Italian Community in World War 2
Story of the Italian community of the south Wales valleys and how they were treated in the Second World War. They were interned as enemy aliens on the Isle of Man after Mussolini declared war in 1940. Some were then sent to Canada on the Arandora Star later in the year, which was tragically sunk by a German U-Boat in mid-Atlantic. Many died in the tragedy.
