A miller boasts and lies about the talents of his daughter, Jade, claiming that she can spin straw into gold. His tale spreads around the Kingdom until one day the King hears this news and has Jade brought to the castle. She is told she must spin straw into gold or her father will be killed. Jade is very upset until a strange little creature comes along to help. But what does the creature want in return?
