Japanese style drumming by Kagemusha Taiko
Members of Kagemusha Taiko are learning to drum in a Japanese style. The sticks they use to hit the drums are called Bachi. Some of the different drums that they use are called shime-daiko, nagado-daiko and oke-daiko.
To play the drums you have to smile, keep your head up, stand in a strong position, make definite movements and keep going no matter what happens. You also shout at the start of the drumming and during the performance.
