Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland
At a meeting to discuss how Scotland should be ruled, John Comyn is murdered at Greyfriars Church. Facing ex-communication and eternal damnation, Bruce flees to ask Bishop Wishart for forgiveness. Bruce is absolved by Wishart and plans are made to crown him king.
